Thanks is in order

Ah, Thanksgiving. Family time, as always. I made my pies, which were Chocolate cream and coconut cream and they both turned out to be a major hit. I still got it when it comes to pies. I also was in Niagara fall last weekend with an old friend and we went to the Seneca-niagara casino there on the american side. My friend actually won $100 at the slot machines, so it paid for the food we ate and whatever else we spent money on. My preceptor has also been telling me how well I'm doing as a consultant pharmacist and I have actually made some recommendations that my preceptor has used in his own recommendations to the doctors. So that makes me happy. This next couple of weeks are going to be pretty crazy as I finish up my second rotation and go head first into the holidays. I will also be taking a few weekends down to NYC in order to take review classes for the boards, as I am still very worried about passing them. However, I have found out that I can get a dual license in CA and NY without having to get extra intern hours outside of school. This is good since in NY, you have 3 tests that you can fail (NAPLEX, MPJE and compounding exam) vs 2 exams in CA (NAPLEX and MPJE). So CA would be either a good back-up plan or just a good possibility even if I do pass in NY. I'm starting to realize how much my school cut corners as I go through my rotations. It doesn't matter though, since I will be getting the same degree as any other pharmacy student. But hey, Happy thanksgiving to everyone and I hope to start sending out christmas cards soon updating everyone on my status. I also posted my favorite picture of the evening. This is my parents bar that they always bring out for parties (and that's really not half of all our liqour). Half the bottles were empty by the end of the evening. When my friends, especially boyfriends, would come over to the house, they would be shocked by all the booze that we have. But we are italian and jewish, so what do you expect. But ya, if I bring home a mormon, it will definitly not be for the holidays. Haha.

Holy Booze fest! Geezz man....that could power a small car to Kansas!

I'm glad things are going well in your rotation. We think of you often and are always hoping the best.

Paul is now home...YEAH! Its nice to be a family again. We had a nice quiet T-day at our house. It was great. Then Black Friday went shopping and to a party. Good times!

I'll talk with you soon..

Shocking! ;D (Most of my mom's side likes their liquor too--at least they have you to tell them which medications to avoid:).

Thanks for the congrats--I thought I would be freaking out--but I'm at peace--actually I'm super excited! A third baby so soon--never thought I would--but I LOVE it! (maybe I'm Catholic *hee, hee).
