So, I guess a lot has happened since Christmas. New Years and January were pretty quite. I was enjoying my part time jobs, I started doing permanent saturdays at Welcare, and Alex's company seemed to be doing pretty well. For the first time in a while, I was finally getting back to being happy with my job. In February I started looking around again for a more permanent part time position. The pharmacy owner of the Fresh Meadow's pharmacy was looking to have a partner, and that wasn't me. So after many interviews, I found an ad on craigslist for a part-time pharmacist for mondays and fridays. So I went into the interview and was immediately hired. After training on the system and only being with the company a couple of days, I was offered the position as supervising pharmacist. While I was cautious at first, I decided that having a full time position was probably for the best. So I accepted. I now work monday-thursday at a pharmacy that makes a good profit and does a decent amount of scripts for only being open 2 years. The owner leaves me alone to do my work and the store manager likes me. Of course, with all the jobs that I've had that have stabbed me in the back, I'm still cautious, but it's been almost 3 months and so far nothing like that has happened. So, I decided to quit the saturday position, since I've been working a 52 hour work week for 3 months.
Also, I GOT ENGAGED!!!! Alex finally proposed to me after dating for 5 years. We both knew this was coming, but it's nice to finally have it happen. Alex proposed to me at Empire Saber Guild, with lightsabers and Jedi robes, and it was awesome. I have the best fiancee. I'm now in the process of planning a geeky chinese/italian/jewish fusion wedding. Fun times!
I headed to the APhA convention with Tiffany at the end of March. It was a lot of fun. We spent saturday at the convention, getting lots of swag and CE credits. Then on sunday we headed to Epcot and enjoyed ourselves there. We also ended up looking at lots of wedding stuff and having an overall great time. Hopefully, Tiffany will be coming up soon so we can head to Kleinfeld's to look at dresses.
