A break

I know it's been several months since I last posted.  I've been kind of busy.  I went to greece with the family, which was amazing.  I spent a week with them traveling all over the mainland of Greece and traversing Athens.  It was really, really hot there but the food was amazing and the sites were fantastic.

After coming home I started my job search.  Pretty quickly I was doing several interviews a week and found that there were some good jobs out there, but also some really crappy ones.  I ended up meeting these two investors who were interested in starting a pharmacy and needed a supervising pharmacist to go in with them.  No money needed, just my time and a lowered salary.  I looked around some more, but decided to come back to them because I couldn't shake the feeling that this might be my one chance to actually work for myself.  I've had too many bad jobs and too many bad bosses (with Montefiore taking top place as the worst ever) to not take the opportunity.  So I did.  Progress is slow and I hope we can get the pharmacy going by mid september or I will have to find another job.  But for right now I am being a substitute pharmacist for a couple of Russian pharmacy owners but they are flexible and understand I'm also an entrepreneur like them.

Wednesday, Alex and I will be heading to GenCon.  It's our yearly trek to Indianapolis and I'm as excited as ever.  Our party will be a little smaller this year, but no less fun.  Plus I may see an old friend I haven't seen since I left Erie, PA.  We shall play games, we will do a True Dungeon adventure and we will buy all the things!  And there may be a chance I will be heading to Hong Kong if the pharmacy ends up being a bust.  We shall see.
