The holidays are always fun for me, being home with the Family and getting presents. This thanksgiving was no exception, though my sister was all the way in Wales for Thanksgiving to be with her English boyfriend. We had our usual two turkeys, 3 pounds of butter, squash, potatoes, biscuts and the works. And what made this so great is that I actually got to spend it at home in Albany instead of working like I thought I would. The job at my new pharmacy is turning out wonderful, though there are the typical crazies. However, when you do 50 scripts a day, it doesn't seem that bad. Really, the only problem is I usually do not have a tech, or when I do get a tech, it's usually this guy who is absolutely terrible at his job and makes my life more difficult than easier. Honestly, I'm not sure why my boss keeps him around. So because of my lack of help, I don't really get a break, but at the same time, at least I'm never really bored.
Things with Alex and I are pretty smooth. We are together in a Star Wars RPG and if you don't know what that means, look it up. We are also looking to possibly go to Puerto Rico together in January, though I could only go for one of my long weekends. He on the other hand has two weeks of vacation he has not used all year and he will lose it in February if he doesn't use it. So it looks like while I am working, Alex will lounge around on the beach doing nothing. Sigh.
Church is kind of happening. I got two new visiting teachers, but I am not very excited about them. They are kind of boring and didn't get me like my previous visiting teachers (both here and in Erie). Luckily, I'm still friends with Becky, who was one of my previous visiting teachers, and she's the head of the relief society, so maybe I can flirt my way back into having her teach me.
