Well, I'm here in sunny, but actually really cold San Francisco, California. I've been pretty busy these past couple of weeks that I've had off from school, starting with the whole packing thing. It's amazing how many people came to help me with that, despite most of the church being in Palmyra that weekend. Since leaving Erie, I've been trying to reorganize myself back in Albany as well as repacking stuff into another suitcase for California. I also went to the wedding of one of my oldest friend's sister. There I met this guy named Seth who was actually a normal, nice, straight guy, which for those of you who know my past relationship history, is a rare find for me (plus he was Jewish, so hoowah!). So we spend almost the entire week together, hanging out and having fun. Unfourtantly, he lives in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, so I won't see him again until June, when I plan to go to Disney world and visit my friend at LECOM Bradenton. Anyway, after that, it was hurrying up and packing everything I could possibly need for this rotation, which I'm scared out of my mind about. I'm not sure what to expect, since before in my community pharmacy all I did was count by 5, take prescription over the phone and have angry gay people yell at me about when their AIDS meds should've arrived. Plus this marks the start of my endless journey of studying for the NAPLEX. Ugh. So after a long flight out to San Francisco, we arrive and find out that they lost my luggage, which has all my clothes, intern license, NAPLEX books and gadgets that I need to survive here. Needless to say, I was pretty nervous. However, I found out this morning that they found it, so YAY! Now I'm going to be going around the San Francisco area, finding cool spots to study, places to hang and do whatever else I need to do to get settled in. Hopefully, the church will be cool.
