Funny pharmacy story

A patient came in today for plan B. She was 34. She asked me if it was ok to take plan B twice. There are two pills in each pack, so I thought she meant is it ok to take the second pill, so I started counseling her on the instructions. Apparently, what she actually meant is that she had already taken a pill on friday due to having unprotected sex and needed a second pill due to having sex on saturday or sunday (this happened on sunday). Sigh. Birth control, people. Birth control. It's not that hard to get and it really does work. I know this from experience.
